Movement Therapy: Pre-hab & Rehab | Praxis Performance + Wellness

Movement Assessment

Why assess movement? Simply said, to identify poor movement patterns or dysfunctions before they cause pain and/or injury. We conduct both static and dynamic analyses to establish potential weak links and then use that information to retrain the body to move in the most stable, efficient way possible.

BEMER

An FDA registered medical device, BEMER, is designed to improve circulation. Blood is the body’s universal means of transportation. Oxygen, nutrients, chemical messengers (i.e. hormones) and immune cells are all transported through our blood. When our body’s cells, tissues and organs are adequately nourished and metabolic waste products are removed, our bodies maintain a healthy balance and function properly. And, it only takes 16 minutes a day!

Blood Flow Restriction

BFR is a tool that helps accelerate performance and recovery. A safely calibrated cuff applies pressure to a limb during training. The cuff facilitates gains in muscle mass at lower loads than are normally required. BFR can assist athletic training and development, return strength to the elderly and assist in the recovery of post-surgical patients.
